The Construction Site covers the sounds of building sites from the ground all the way up. Everything from digging foundations to angle grinders biting through metal. We’ve got you covered. Nail guns firing into timber, chop saws ripping through wood, concrete pouring, excavators loading soil, and tree surgeons working through a full job. But this library goes much further than the basic sets of ambiences you’d expect.
Recorded close and clean throughout, many of the sounds carry a textural intimacy that sits perfectly in Film, TV and Games, sandpaper drawn slowly across oak, masking tape peeled back in a single strip, rope twisting under tension, a zip tie pulled tight. These are the kinds of recordings that work instantly in ASMR content, prop Foley, and scenes with house renovations or construction sites.
The power tools are where the creative range really opens up. The raw recordings of drills, grinders, multi-tools, and orbital sanders are clean source material that repitches, layers, and processes into mechanical machines, robots, and transformers with a sense of physical weight that synthesised sounds rarely match. There is real metal in these files. Real stress, resistance, and torque. The Construction Site becomes the engine room for something much bigger.
Ambiences range from a single worker drilling framing timber close to the camera, to wide exterior environments with excavators, concrete mixers, stump grinders, and heavy machinery running simultaneously. Multiple recording perspectives let you place the listener wherever the scene needs them.
Recorded in high resolution and embedded with detailed metadata, The Construction Site delivers organised, production-ready assets from the smallest prop interaction to the largest site ambience, everything you need to build a believable world, or tear one apart.
